Wedding FAQ's

Do we meet our photographer before the wedding to discuss our requirements?

We believe it is an important element to meet us a few weeks prior to the wedding. Not only does it help establish a relationship and put a name to a face, but it enables us to sort out all those final details ensuring you receive the best possible from your photographer. We also offer a free complementary pre-wedding photo shoot either in the studio or at a nearby location. A lot of couples really appreciate this time and helps in being relaxed and enjoying the photography on the big day.

Can we select the style of photography we like?

Of course. Generally speaking we like to photograph the wedding in a relaxed, informal way, capturing the day as it unfolds and candid shots throughout as they present themselves. However, many couples still like a few traditional group shots which we would recommend and always ask for a list if you have certain requests. Ultimately, we will discuss your requirements prior to the wedding in any case and oblige accordingly.

Do you offer a black & white service?

All of our photographs are shot in colour, however as a matter of course certain photographs often lend themselves to be produced in black & white, therefore we generally include a few with your proofs to show how they could look.

How long are you present on the wedding day?

We normally commence the day with shots from getting ready right through until you sit down for your wedding breakfast. If required, we can stay for speeches, any entertainment, first dance and even fireworks.

Who owns the copyright to our wedding photographs?

Red Pepper Studios own the copyright, but we offer the option for you to purchase the high resolution images with full reproduction rights granted.

How long and how do we view the images after the wedding?

We normally have the photographs ready for viewing a few days after the wedding, this can be a little longer at peak times. As long as you have internet access, you will be able to view the photographs on our online gallery which is password protected for you and your guests. Otherwise, we will produce a viewing DVD for you to view and select the images for your album.
